US fest to host Iranian ‘Midnight Sun’

Iranian feature film ‘Midnight Sun’ has been set to attend the BeBop Channel Content Festival in the US.

Written and directed by Shobeir Shirazi, the film will be in competition at the first edition of the US film event which will take place at Harlem neighborhood in New York City.

Iranian superstar Shahab Hosseini has been on board with this film project as producer and casting director.

‘Midnight Sun’ depicts nine days of a young singer. The nine days count as the most outstanding days of his life.

Arman Darvish, Sonbol Azami, Ali Sajedi, Azadeh Mehdizadeh, Samaneh Esmaeeli and Farzad Hatami are the cast members of the flick.

Iranian rock vocalist Reza Yazdani has also featured in the film.

The first edition of the BeBop Channel Content Festival is slated for June 4-7, 2020.

The festival motto reads “Artistry knows no borders”.
